IOM: PRIMA STRUTTURA SANITARIA IN SICILIA PER NUMERO DI PAZIENTI OPERATI PER TUMORI DEL COLON E DELLO STOMACO
L’Istituto Oncologico del Mediterraneo di Viagrande, Catania è la prima struttura sanitaria in Sicilia per numero di pazienti operati per tumore al colon e allo stomaco. Secondo i dati del programma nazionale esiti (AGENAS) appena pubblicati relativi all’anno 2019 sono stati effettuati 44 interventi di tumore allo stomaco, 118 al colon. Al primo posto anche per interventi al colon e al retto in laparoscopia, rispettivamente 88 e 34 interventi.
L’alto volume di interventi effettuati permette a tutta l’equipe di specializzarsi, trovare le procedure migliori e garantire una qualità sempre più elevata.
